The thousands and thousands of photos we receive as submissions to our Best of the Best Wedding Photo Contest every year give us a fascinating look inside the wedding photography industry, and one particular trend that we’ve seen grow for many seasons now is the creation of portraits in a dramatic landscape setting. The vista could be found in nature, in architecture, or simply in negative space, with the subject generally a small in size, but integral component of the overall composition. Why does this trend continue to grow? Just take a look at these images and you’ll see why – what spectacular results!
