An engagement session is more than a photoshoot—it’s a glimpse into a couple’s dynamic, an exercise in trust, and, for many, their first experience in front of a professional lens. It’s also where a photographer must transform raw emotion and fleeting moments into something timeless, all while navigating composition, lighting, and the natural uncertainties of human connection.

This year, guest judges Dylan Howell, Thien Tong, and Sara Rogers took on the formidable task of selecting the Best of the Best Engagement Photos of 2025. With thousands of submissions from across the globe, narrowing the list to just 50 was no small feat.
