Each spring, Junebug Weddings holds the Best of the Best Engagement Photo contest to celebrate the top couple photos of the year. This year we welcomed guest judges Joy Zamora, Oli Sansom, and Laurken Kendall and together narrowed down over 6,000 images to our favorite 50. The thousands of photos submitted offered us a glimpse at the current photography trends making waves. We saw lots of lanterns, direct flash, film photography, at-home sessions, and close-ups of hands. But what made this year’s submission pool truly special was the increase of quiet, emotional moments that radiated intimacy.
Per usual, the selection process was a tricky one. So much so that we couldn’t stop at just 50 photos. Below you’ll find our Honorable Mention collection–the images that just missed the cut but were still standouts in their own right. Congratulations to the Honorable Mention winners!
