Back in November, our Editor-in-Chief Carrie and I headed to the Oregon Coast for the Let’s Go Workshop hosted by The Soft Season at The Houses On Manzanita Beach. The four-day workshop was an incredible experience of knowledge, community, and adventure including talks from both the hosts as well as Jacob Loafman, Dallas and Sabrina Kolotylo, Catalina Jean, Don Bringas of Don y Helen, and yours truly – the editors of Junebug Weddings! Between live shoots along the coast, engaging presentations, and plenty of candid Q&A between mentors and attendees throughout the week, it’s no wonder everyone involved left feeling ready and able to take their businesses to the next level.
Let’s Go is already almost sold out for next year’s workshop back on the coast of Oregon during November 13-16, 2018, but there are a few spots left and I want to make sure you know why you need to grab one of them! Our 2017 Let’s Go family has kept in touch since November’s workshop and I wanted to share some of the awesome things the attendees had to say about their experience. Scroll on for seriously gorgeous images and honest testimony from a few of Let’s Go’s own.

“Attending Let’s Go Workshop was one of the best investments I made for myself and my business this year. The speakers were wonderful; in addition to sharing a ton of valuable information with us, they created an awesome and supportive sense of community through the whole time we were there. I learned so much, and I came away from the experience feeling inspired and confident in my vision for my photography and business.” – Hannah Gunnell of Ramblefree Photo Co.

“Lets Go Workshop was incredible. So incredible that I along with several others will be coming back for a second year to fall in love all over again. This workshop encompasses every aspect of the industry from creative to technical, marketing to sales and the teachers are so open and welcoming to any questions. They are the first ones to want you to succeed. But my favorite aspect of this workshop was the sense of family. These are the friends that are going to last a lifetime, and I will forever be grateful to Grace for showing us the true meaning of community over competition.” – Naba Zabih Photography

“My favorite part of the workshop was the instant community that was formed. Everyone was uplifting and inspiring and it was infectious, the energy was so positive! Lets Go blew my expectations out of the water in every way and there aren’t enough good things to say about it! I laughed, I cried, I learned and of course, left with rad photos!” – Joelle Julian Photography

“Holy smokes. That’s what I have to say about the Let’s Go workshop. I went into the workshop thinking I was going to gain a few skills, maybe some cool shots for my portfolio (as I’m new into the wedding photog world) but what I walked away with was a full heart, confidence in the artist that I AM, some BADASS work for my portfolio and the best part – friends that became family. There are NO words to describe the love I felt & feel for each artist there and the appreciation for the hard work of every human who helped put this together.” – Kishelle Linenko of Linenko Photography

“I seriously could go on and on forever about how awesome I think the Let’s Go Workshop is. BY FAR one of the best investments for my business! The wedding photography industry is usually so competitive that you can feel deflated and discouraged sometimes. After just one day of hanging out with Grace and the rest of the Let’s Go fam, I can honestly say that I received a huge boost to my confidence, I felt inspired, super motivated, incredibly determined, and 100% completely supported and loved by this little community of creatives. The knowledge and experience I gained is worth 3 times what I paid. And, the friendships formed will be some that I keep for the rest of my life. One million gold stars for the Let’s Go Workshop!!!” – Dionne Kraus Photography

“To say this workshop is a smart investment is an understatement. You will be challenged, you will meet some amazing photographers from all around the world. You will dance. you will cry. you will laugh like you never thought you could. You will learn things that will be an asset for your business moving forward. But most of all you will form a bond with your group that will last a lifetime. I am excited to see how much this grows over the next few years. They have a home run workshop on their hands!! Invest in yourself, invest in your business and be apart of the Let’s Go Fam! Thank you for everything!” – Kilen Murphy

“We traveled all the way from Germany to be part of Let’s Go and it turned out to be everything we could have wished for and more: from the inspiring talks and live photo shoots to the karaoke night and the loving community. It was the perfect environment to grow and learn not only as artists but also as people. We came as attendees but left as part of a family and will forever be thankful for this experience.” – Pia Ana and Christian

“I came to the Let’s Go Workshop to renew my passion for photography and soak up as much knowledge as possible. Not only did I learn a lot, but I walked away with a whole new community of people. One of the biggest ah-hah moments for me was learning to create for myself and not care what other people think. It’s been so empowering to have a mindset like that. I was so nervous being around such influential people, but it was one of the least judgemental and down to earth experiences I’ve had and I’m so glad I decided to go.” – Kyndal Hawkins of Inner Images Photography

“This was my first workshop I’ve ever attended and it set the bar so high. I learned SO much about how to maximize my workflow and efficiency, about how to connect with my clients, and most importantly, how to really start LOVING what I do again. Being able to connect with so many other like-minded people was the best part. Also, the karaoke dance party was LEGENDARY!” – Tara Johansen of Cork Creative

“From the first afternoon walking through the door to saying farewell at the end, each and every one of the speakers was so welcoming, genuine, and a friend. They attracted an incredible group of like-minded creatives, creating an incredible sense of community that has continued well beyond our few days together. Their goal with everything we did was to make us better versions of ourselves, and I believe I can say they did that for all of us. Let’s Go workshop was the best thing I’ve ever done for myself as a creative and for my business.” – Jess Rankin

“To have the speakers around us and actually taking the time to get to know everyone and ask questions for more than a quick Q&A… meant everything to me. Just being able to fully engage and connect will be an experience Ill never forget that. THANKS to you guys as well and sharing as much as you did… big spotlight moment for me.” – Destinee Jensen Photography

“My favorite part of the workshop had to be how inclusive it was. Everyone was incredibly friendly, there weren’t any cliques and no one was made to feel less than anyone else. The teachers were always available to answer questions, and you genuinely felt like they cared about your struggles, your successes, and your work. It was an amazing experience for me, and so much fun meeting so many other photographers from different walks of life. I made so many new friends! I would definitely go again!” – Kyndall Elliott of ShutterKey Photography

“The Let’s Go workshop is a prime example of how to coordinate a perfect-in-every-way workshop. Not one teacher made me feel like I was “less than” …which can be hard to dodge sometimes in the photography world. I literally can’t think of 1 thing I would change… I walked away with a new mindset, tips+ tricks on every aspect of photography, and a new photog family. BEST WORKSHOP EVER!” – Shannon Weiss of Rustic Bloom Photography
