After years of bringing educational courses, business advice, and a sense of community to wedding photographers, the Photobug team is thrilled to release our very first presets. It’s all thanks to our friend Greg Petersen–the mastermind behind G-Presets–who approached us with a collaboration opportunity we couldn’t pass up. With Greg as the designer, there was no doubt the technical creation of the presets would be in the best of hands. All that was left was for us to lay out a vision for presets that not only we personally loved but that our community would love too.

Our vision from the get-go was for clean, timeless, and natural presets. Nothing too moody or trendy–our dream presets would utilize a palette that emphasized nature’s true color scheme. At some point, we threw out the idea of a Super 8-inspired preset, not knowing if it was even remotely possible. But after some experimentation from Greg, he nailed it and delivered retro and charming vintage presets like we’ve never seen before.

After one year of planning and perfecting, Photobug Presets are finally here. We’re buzzing with excitement to share this beautiful pack with you all. Check out the selection of before and after shots below, and let us know what you think!

Super 8 Photobug Presets

There are six Super 8-inspired presets and nine Effects. We had so much fun dreaming up these presets, and that fun really does transfer onto each photo. You’ll find haze, dust, and grain in this collection, giving images a warm nostalgia and an effortless cool.
